I’ve been living and breathing hip-hop for over a decade, and it’s taken me on some amazing journeys—from winning championships like Red Bull Dance Your Style Georgia to teaching and performing on big stages. But what I love most is sharing the power of dance with others. My teaching isn’t just about learning steps; it’s about helping you find your style, your confidence, and your connection to the music. Whether you’re a total beginner, someone looking to sharpen your freestyle skills, or just want to explore dance as a way to feel good, I’m here for it. What sets me apart? I’m not just a dancer—I’m also a certified dance therapist. About the lesson

Teaching Approach and Techniques

With over a decade of experience as an award-winning freestyle hip-hop dancer and certified dance therapist, I combine creativity, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of movement to guide my students. My teaching focuses on helping individuals discover their unique style while mastering the foundations of freestyle hip-hop. I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs, incorporating both technical drills and creative exercises to build confidence and fluidity in dance.

Typical Lesson Plan

Warm-Up and Stretching: To prepare the body and prevent injury.
Foundation Building: Focus on basic grooves, steps, and freestyle techniques.
Creative Exploration: Encouraging students to interpret music and develop their personal style.
Choreography or Freestyle Practice: Depending on the student’s goal, we’ll work on structured routines or improvisational skills.
Cool Down and Feedback: Reflect on progress and set goals for the next session.
