About Beverly
Focusing on what you actually need to say makes learning French stick better. It feels like chatting with a friend while we work through role play and dialogue practice. I use my background to help with cultural context and pronunciation so you avoid common beginner traps. We tackle liaison and nasal sounds through everyday phrases.
Interview preparation is also on the table if you need it. Small steps lead to big gains. Talking is fun.

Spending 8 years in the Montreal folk scene really shapes how I see language. It started with playing small venues and picking up the rhythm of the local dialect along the way.
I have taught over 446 students the nuance of nasal sounds and standard grammar patterns. Being self-taught means I focus on how people actually speak in the real world. I bring 5 years of experience to these sessions.
Language is just another way to tell a story. It is a practical skill for travel and daily life. My approach is simple. I try to make it feel natural.
