About Jamila
"Picking up the guitar for the first time in my small childhood bedroom started it all. That simple moment of finding my first chord changed my entire life.
I later completed an MA Songwriting at Bath Spa University to deepen my technical understanding. Now I support those seeking a free trial session to assess their starting level.
I teach everything from reading tabs to complex barre chords. You might also want to explore improvisation, soloing, or ear training with me.
I help students navigate grade exam prep and power chords too. It is vital to learn acoustic technique and strumming patterns that actually sound musical. I try to keep my lessons grounded in reality for every player. I hope you enjoy the journey of learning this instrument as much as I do."
