About Lia

Pitch control and breathing control are often where singers feel the most exposed during a performance. I admit that even the best vocalists struggle to balance head and chest voice without consistent, honest feedback.

My BFA from USC Thornton taught me how to refine vibrato control and rhythm and phrasing for those who want to master their craft. With 10 years of experience, I guide you through warm-up exercises and vocal range extension that yield real results. Using my background in folk and Americana traditions, I will help you build your belting technique and performance confidence so you can find your true voice.

Teaching is about ensuring the music remains sturdy once the session concludes. Do you feel your voice tiring after just a few songs? I avoid long-winded lectures in favor of immediate, hands-on adjustments to your physical technique. Because I check understanding constantly in small ways, we identify technical gaps early.

My 10 years of experience ensures that every minute spent on your breathing or range extension has a specific, measurable purpose. We target the stubborn habits that hold you back from full expression. By the end of our time, you will have the tools to maintain your own progress independently. I look forward to hearing your voice reach its full potential.
