About Lorie
Beginners and advanced players alike need clear guidance on power chords and chord transitions. Technique is everything.
I integrate music theory and electric technique to build a strong base for your playing. Reading tabs and mastering barre chords come easily with the right repetition. I show students how to approach improvisation and soloing, blues progressions, and songwriting.
My Master of Music from the University of Toronto supports 13 years of consistent practice. Tuning and maintenance are also covered to keep your instrument in top shape. To take your playing to the next level.

I create custom backing tracks so students can practice soloing at home. 10 distinct exercises define this curriculum. My Master of Music degree informs how I teach improvisation in a logical way. I draw on 13 years of experience to adjust the pace of each lesson.
We work through the mechanics of your technique in a direct manner. I emphasize control over raw speed. You will notice the difference in your tone after a few weeks. Rewarding about hearing your own progress take shape.
