About Heather
Vibrato control and head and chest voice mechanics are the core technical foundations I emphasize. Helping students is the most rewarding part of my day. I have taught 169 students using these techniques to build better singing habits. It is truly straightforward work.
Performance confidence is something everyone can build with consistent practice. My approach to managing stage fear is rooted in my own professional background. I love seeing the progress my students make during our time together.

Stage fright often stems from a lack of technical tools to manage your own sound. I admit that even I had to learn these tricks the hard way during my early training. My lessons focus on vocal range extension and precision for grade exam candidates and children who want to sing with power.
Having a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from UBC helps me explain these complex physiological shifts in simple ways. We review performance recordings together each month to pinpoint growth and areas for adjustment. It is a supportive process designed to keep you motivated as you improve. You are welcome to join me for a session whenever you feel ready to sing.
