About Melisa
"Spanish language acquisition happens best when we focus on the mechanical aspects of pronunciation and consistent daily practice. I have guided 43 students through the nuances of Latin American versus Castilian variants by stripping away the guesswork from linguistic study.
My own training in music performance has significantly sharpened my ability to teach accent and intonation as a series of repeatable physical actions. Conversational fluency is the baseline goal of our work together, but we also refine your reading comprehension and vocabulary building. I enjoy using role play and dialogue practice to prepare individuals for actual interview scenarios. I often find that focusing on cultural context helps my students feel more grounded in the language, which is a detail I appreciate."
