About Royce
Admitting that I am quite particular about vocal health is the best way to start our technical work together. We pace our sessions carefully to ensure the muscles are never overworked while we explore head and chest voice.
I find that teens and working professionals appreciate a steady approach to range extension and stage fear management. Performance recordings are reviewed together each month to track how your tone shifts as you grow. We will integrate warm-up exercises that protect your instrument while we tackle microphone technique and harmony singing.
My ear remains sharp during these sessions because I want you to feel confident and secure in your sound. It is a pleasure to guide your development as a singer through these specific steps. Stay focused on your breathing and we will see great results soon.

Training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama gave me a Master of Music in Voice that informs every technical correction I make today. I often visualise the subtle shift in a student's larynx during the boys choir voice change when they struggle with shifting registers.
My 6 years of experience have allowed me to work with hundreds of voices including choral scholars and absolute beginners. Helping such a diverse range of 263 students means I adapt my ear to hear what is truly happening in the room. I spent a long time refining my ability to listen for tension in the neck and jaw.
It is essential that we identify these physical habits early so the music can flow without restriction. This is simply how I work.
