About Annie
"Have you ever wondered why certain songs stick in your head long after the radio stops playing? I started my path by learning the folk traditions of the American South, eventually touring for 12 years at festivals.
Now I apply that history to teaching songwriting, reading sheet music, electric technique, blues progressions, acoustic technique, and rhythm guitar. Working with 300 students has given me a deep appreciation for the way different people pick up the guitar. My degree is self-taught, reflecting the grit required to really own your sound."
