About Mary
I've studied classical piano since age 6 using the Suzuki method, and later in high school and after studied jazz & improvisational methods. I'm ADHD/neurodivergent myself, and I prefer the Suzuki specifically for teaching neurodivergent kids. I welcome all students of different abilities and neurotypes and can work with them on any accessibility they may require.

I specialize in teaching beginners the Suzuki method, an auditory-based music teaching approach developed that teaches children to play the piano the same way they learn to speak their native language ("mother-tongue" approach). I teach from my home on the North side of Youngstown, Ohio.
