About Margaret
"Focusing on the mechanics of your voice might feel overwhelming at first glance. We start by addressing your specific goals, whether you are a grade exam candidate, an absolute beginner, or a self-taught player seeking structure. I use my BMus Vocal Performance background to clarify tone, resonance, and microphone technique.
We work on head and chest voice, harmony singing, and vocal health. You receive free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes for use at home. Performance-focused students and returning learners will find plenty of support here. Reach out if you want to chat about your voice."

"Singing often feels daunting when you are standing alone on a stage. Truthfully, I still get butterflies despite my 7 years singing with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and other UK ensembles. My teaching practice grew from this performance foundation and my BMus Vocal Performance degree.
I have spent 5 years refining how to pass these lessons to others. Many singers struggle with simple habits that stop their voices from projecting.
I enjoy helping people find their true sound through classical technique and choral repertoire. It is rewarding to see students grow in confidence over time. Developing a voice that feels healthy and strong is a joy to witness."
