About Vergie
Lyric writing is the core skill I provide for all my songwriting students. I have taught 176 students, ranging from teens to serious singer-songwriters.
My background includes 5 years of professional music production and songwriting. I focus heavily on prosody, hook writing, and the technical aspects of harmony basics. Often, I assist with the editing and rewriting phases to clarify a song message.
We also spend time on writing to a brief for commercial projects. I enjoy the process of co-writing and collaboration with bedroom producers. My goal is to see you master the tools needed to write songs that resonate. You will find your own voice through our consistent work together.

You bring your ideas, and we shape them using techniques like top-line writing. I draw on my degree from Full Sail University to explain why certain melodies catch the ear.
Because I work with many teens and bedroom producers, I keep the feedback constructive. A major part of my service is providing feedback on your own tracks every week. This ensures your development is steady and highly relevant.
