About Abigail
"Shifting positions and intonation form the core of my teaching practice. I bring 13 years of experience to these technical hurdles. My degree from Belmont University informs how I approach violin pedagogy. I have helped over 100 students refine their posture and hold.
Tuning by ear is where we begin our work together. Mastery of bowing technique comes from patience. I prioritize the sound over the page.
My classical repertoire knowledge remains grounded in tradition. Come learn to hear the music before you read it."

"Enjoyment stems from playing tunes that resonate with your own ear. My lessons bypass the static page at the start of our journey. Years of playing in the American South shaped my method.
Belmont University gave me the technical tools to explain these concepts. We focus on listening before we look at any notation. You will find that your left hand agility improves when you hear the note first. Posture becomes natural when you are relaxed.
Tuning by ear is a skill we build together. I teach the way music was meant to be shared."
