About Silas
Great singing requires the total abandonment of the desire to sound pretty in favor of sounding accurate. My studio persona is built on 13 years of experience where I prioritize technical rigidity over artistic whims.
I hold a BMus in Violin Performance from The Juilliard School, which informs my unique approach to resonance and pitch control. Music has been my life since childhood. I have successfully guided 103 students through the complexities of belting technique and breathing control. I personally find that the intersection of theory and physical coordination is where true vocal growth happens.

Reliable technique acts as a bridge between the physical act of singing and the final performance. I start by recording warm-up routines that are shared for your daily home practice. This ensures that you develop the necessary muscle memory for rhythm and phrasing. We dedicate time to sight singing and harmony singing to solidify your musical literacy.
Microphone technique and vibrato control are audited during our 9 sessions together. I also focus on tone and resonance to ensure your vocal quality is consistent for exam preparation. Every detail matters when building a career in music. I look forward to your growth.
