About Charles
Cassette tapes and messy guitar tabs formed the bedrock of my musical education long before I ever stepped into a formal university classroom. Most people assume that formal schooling kills the creative spark, but my time at the University of North Texas actually proved the opposite. Combining that self-taught curiosity with rigorous jazz theory defines my current teaching style perfectly.
I have worked with hundreds of students over the last 11 years, helping them bridge the gap between intuition and logic. Whether you are a working professional or a beginner, I build a clear path toward your goals. I have taught over 300 students to navigate the fretboard with confidence.
My two-camera setup ensures that you see every subtle movement of my hands during our time together. We can keep things simple or get technical whenever you feel ready. Just reach out whenever you want to start playing.

You receive a monthly recorded review of your progress to track how far you have come. Lessons move at whatever speed keeps you engaged and motivated. You will find it is quite straightforward.
