About Morrison
True language mastery relies on consistent exposure to practical, daily usage. Reading comprehension forms the bedrock of every session we undertake. My USyd training ensures that our role play exercises remain grounded in pedagogical best practices.
I find that building vocabulary through context is far more effective than traditional lists. These 6 years of classroom experience allow me to pivot quickly when a student struggles with specific pronunciation. Completing a degree in TESOL from USyd was only the beginning of a long educational narrative. Most people assume that learning a new language requires an innate talent, but I believe it is purely a matter of structured exposure. My trilingual history informs the way I teach French to both hobbyists and advanced learners. I specialize in breaking down complex grammar into manageable, logical units that students can apply immediately.
This perspective has helped me support 387 students throughout my 6 years of consistent teaching. I enjoy working with teens and adults who want to improve their reading comprehension or travel skills. Hopefully, our paths cross soon so we can start your linguistic journey.
