About Malia
The Master of Music from Manhattan School of Music surprisingly informs my linguistic precision. I must admit that I treat language acquisition much like learning a difficult sonata.
After 10 years of teaching 175 students, I find that cultural context and correct accent are non-negotiable. My lessons emphasize pronunciation, intonation, and consistent verb conjugation. I guide students through reading comprehension, vocabulary building, and everyday phrases for beginners.
We use role play and dialogue practice to bridge the gap between abstract grammar and actual travel French. It is quite rewarding to see these pieces click for someone.
