"You will start by holding the instrument in a way that feels natural for your body. We look at your specific goals whether that involves grade exam prep or ear training exercises. I provide custom backing tracks so students can practice soloing at home.
This creates a bridge between our time together and your private practice. It is about building a foundation that lasts. You will be playing with confidence sooner than you think."

"Sitting in a practice room at McGill University while earning my BA Music, I realized that technical skill means nothing without a clear voice. 179 students have passed through my studio since I started teaching 7 years ago. I specialize in everything from reading sheet music and tabs to mastering complex fingerpicking patterns. My work spans electric technique, lead guitar, and the nuances of acoustic playing.
I guide teens and returning learners through the details of maintenance and tuning. Songwriting allows me to bridge the gap between theory and pure expression. I truly enjoy seeing the moment a student figures out their own lead phrasing. It is a rewarding process."
