About Ty
Guitar strings are not just wire because they are actually the first step toward a new identity. Most people assume the instrument is difficult to learn immediately.
I started this journey long ago and now hold a BA in Music from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. My 8 years of experience help me guide students through tuning and maintenance.
I teach electric technique and acoustic technique to anyone ready to work. We build chord transitions and read sheet music together.
Barre chords and power chords become second nature through my ear training methods. Teaching 319 students has refined my patience. My personal narrative centers on turning ideas into music. I enjoy watching the progress.
