About Heidi
Most people think playing guitar requires endless hours of staring at static tabs alone. I started my career in the gritty Tex-Mex and Latin pop circuits where the groove always dictates the notes. Over 13 years, I have cultivated a style that blends my Licenciatura en Guitarra Flamenca and Berklee background with real-world stage experience.
Having taught 127 students ranging from young kids to advanced performers, I focus on building structural integrity through scales and modes or blues progressions. You might want to master improvisation or simply learn how to strum patterns that feel alive. My approach prioritizes self-taught players who need professional structure and grade exam candidates who want more than just test prep. I thrive when helping you bridge the gap between technical acoustic technique and genuine artistic expression.

My 13 years of experience in the Latin jazz circuit means I bring a unique perspective to standard songwriting and technique. You will find that my lessons feel like a collaboration rather than a lecture because I want you to feel the music as much as you study it.
