About Robert
Having taught introductory courses in physics at both the college and high school level, I have honed my understanding of physics and how to best present it to new students. However, presentation is not enough. One of my strongest attributes in teaching was my willingness and enjoyment to help students in one-on-one learning situations. When a student needed help, whether early in the morning before class or late in the day after classes, I was always willing and eager to help. So, tutoring one-on-one has been my forte during my teaching years.

Physics is a challenging subject. Understanding the basic concepts is essential in solving word problems associated with physics. Using anecdotes and common every-day examples, I can help the student master physics content. Successfully handling basic algebra is also needed. There are simple “tricks” in applying algebra that can aid the student in solving problems. Finally, my love for physics and my desire to imbue that love in others will further propel the student toward success.
