About Isla
I am an Economics tutor with 4 years of teaching experience, guiding High School and College students to build strong conceptual understanding and confidence in the subject. I have successfully taught around 250 students, helping them improve their academic performance and achieve their learning goals. My main subjects include Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, International Economics, Public Finance, Development Economics, and Monetary Economics.

I use real-world examples, current economic events, and simple case studies to explain complex theories. This helps students understand how economic models work in real markets and policy decisions.
Flexibility is an important part of my teaching style. I adjust my pace and methods based on each student’s understanding level. Empathy plays a key role in my sessions, as I understand that economics can sometimes feel challenging and abstract.
