About Nicole
Hi all - my name is Nicole! I am a certified mathematics teacher, tutor, and coach with over 10 years of experience working with students in and out of the classroom. Throughout my career, I have taught high school mathematics while also coaching boys varsity soccer and varsity softball (leading both to championship titles), giving me extensive experience helping students develop confidence, discipline, and problem-solving skills. What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to build strong relationships with students. I believe learning happens best when students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and challenging themselves. I work hard to create a supportive environment where students feel understood and empowered to succeed.

As a math teacher and tutor, I believe strong relationships are the foundation of student success. I take the time to build trust with students, helping them feel comfortable being vulnerable, asking questions, and making mistakes without fear of judgment. Once that relationship is established, students are more engaged and willing to tackle challenging concepts. My instructional approach emphasizes repetition, guided practice, and ongoing assessment to ensure students develop both confidence and mastery. While I pride myself on my content knowledge and ability to explain concepts clearly, what truly sets me apart is my ability to connect with students and create a supportive learning environment where they can thrive academically and personally.
