About Yvonne
Teaching singing is rarely about just hitting the right notes. Many singers focus on volume when the real goal is resonance and tone. I bring 13 years of experience to this craft to help you understand your own instrument.
My background includes 400 students across various levels of proficiency. Sight singing and harmony are vital parts of my teaching toolkit. We work on vibrato control and diction to ensure your message arrives clearly.
Stage fear management is something I tackle directly with every student. Whether you are an absolute beginner or a returning learner, I have tools to help. I am simply a teacher who values the traditions of Chilean nueva-cancion. Let us begin this journey together.

Individual goals define how I structure our time in the studio. Imagine standing on a stage and feeling total command over your breath and resonance. I draw on my BMus from Queensland Conservatorium and my Licenciatura from Argentina to guide you.
We cover exam preparation, harmony, and performance confidence in a practical way. Advanced learners often appreciate the technical rigor I apply to diction. Absolute beginners benefit from the calm, steady pace I maintain.
Returning learners find that checking their range and goals is the best way to restart. I offer a free trial lesson so we can check your range and goals before committing. Making music should always be a joyful experience.
