About Ashwini
I am looking to broaden my horizon away from my corporate job and create an impact by helping students understand that sometimes Maths isn't all too bad...it can be extremely fun too.(especially when you get it). As this was always my case, Maths in school used to always be fun as I was ahead of my peers and could even assist them in school. I want to make Maths fun for more people.

I am extremely passionate about numbers and like to teach holistically as that is the approach that has worked with me so far. With my background of having 2A* in both Maths and Further Maths from A-Levels following the Edexcel syllabus and First Class Honours from my undergraduate studies in Actuarial Science, I have learnt to excel at Maths by understanding the logic behind the sums rather than memorising mathematical techniques. I like to engage with students and have the session be a two-way conversation rather than a lecture. Lessons would typically be an hour long with a purpose for the lesson in mind and hopeful to have achieved the goal by the end of the lesson. I have taught in Kumon previously for both Maths and English ranging from primary school Maths till A-Level Maths. My lessons would be for children between the ages 8-18 looking to understand/grasp certain topics and how to apply them effectively in their learning
