Graduating from The Glenn Gould School with a Bachelor of Music in Strings provides a rigorous foundation for my approach to violin pedagogy. Technical mastery is rarely achieved through sheer repetition, so I focus on the mechanics of posture and orchestral playing.
My 6 years of experience allow me to identify inefficiencies in bowing, specifically spiccato and staccato techniques. Building a reliable sense of rhythm and timing remains the cornerstone of my work with students. I have guided numerous learners through complex classical repertoire and ear training exercises. This background informs how I address double stops and overall performance stability.
