About Zain

I'm Zain, a CAD and engineering design tutor supporting learners in Melbourne and online across Australia.
I teach SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA and Autodesk 3ds Max.
SolidWorks lessons cover sketches, parts, assemblies, mates and engineering drawings.
AutoCAD supports accurate drafting, CATIA develops parametric design, and 3ds Max supports modelling and presentation.
I explain each topic in clear steps before moving to guided practice.
Students improve design intent, file organisation, drawing quality and efficient modelling workflows.
Lessons suit beginners, university students and designers working on assignments or portfolios.
You can bring your syllabus, assignment, past paper or project brief to the lesson.
I adapt the pace, examples and feedback to your current level and deadline.
My goal is to help you create clean, editable CAD work and explain every design decision.

About the lesson

1. Lessons are practical and built around a part, drawing, assembly or project you want to complete.
2. We first identify the required output and then choose the cleanest workflow.
3. SolidWorks can include sketches, features, assemblies, mates and drawings.
4. AutoCAD can cover layers, dimensions, layouts and plotting; CATIA can cover constrained sketches and parametric parts; 3ds Max can support modelling and presentation.
5. You will model during the session, correct errors and learn how to keep files organised.
6. I explain why each operation is used so you can repeat the workflow independently.
7. For the current semester, we can build a focused plan around your syllabus, assessments and project milestones.
8. We can target coursework, portfolio quality, technical drawings or a complete design project.
9. I offer online SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA and 3D Modelling lessons for students in Melbourne and across Australia.
