About Sorrel
I am a passionate violin instructor with 15 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumental Music. I have trained many students in classical and contemporary violin, helping them build strong technical control and musical expression through structured learning methods.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and practice-focused. I believe students learn best when they are guided step by step with clear demonstrations. I encourage regular practice and help students develop discipline, accuracy, and confidence while playing the violin in a natural and expressive way.
Over the years, I have helped learners prepare for performances, exams, and personal musical growth. I continuously refine my teaching approach to make lessons more effective and engaging. My goal is to help every student enjoy violin playing while achieving strong musical excellence.

My violin lessons are designed for beginners to advanced learners who want to develop strong technical skills and musical expression. I focus on posture, bowing techniques, finger placement, intonation, and rhythm control. Each concept is explained in a simple and step-by-step way so students can build a strong foundation in violin playing without confusion or pressure.
Every lesson includes practical exercises, scales, and song practice to improve both technique and musicality. I guide students through classical pieces and modern melodies depending on their interest level. My approach ensures steady progress while making learning enjoyable and engaging, helping students connect emotionally with the instrument as they improve their skills.
I also provide personalized training plans based on each student’s pace and goals. Regular feedback and correction help improve accuracy and confidence. My aim is to develop disciplined practice habits so students can play violin smoothly, confidently, and expressively in both solo and group performances.
