"Being a self-taught guitarist from Mexico means my fingers carry the history of 13 years gigging Latin music across Australian stages. I remember the smell of polished mahogany and stale beer after a late set in a dimly lit bar.
My method centers on reading sheet music and tabs alongside mastering intricate fingerpicking patterns. Grade exam prep and chord transitions occupy much of my technical focus. My narrative is woven into the Latin diaspora community here. I have spent 13 years refining this craft.
The textures of Mexican mariachi traditions inform every note I play for my students. Music is a dialogue that transcends borders. I still find joy in discovering a new chord voicing late at night."
