About Kimberly
Playing acoustic sets in small venues across the Southwest feels like home to me. I started teaching when open mic regulars asked how I managed my specific technique.
My 13 years of gigging shaped how I approach every single fretboard challenge. It is quite simple. Music is about connection. I spent my early career balancing stage time with my BFA Music Industry studies at Belmont University.
I enjoy helping beginners find their footing or intermediate players sharpen their lead guitar skills. Having worked with countless students, I love seeing that moment of clarity when a blues progression clicks. I just enjoy being a student of the craft myself.
