I am a guitar teacher with 11 years of experience, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Guitar Emphasis. My focus is on songwriting, composition, and artist development. I love helping students write original music and discover their unique style. Together, we explore chord progressions, melodies, and arrangements that reflect each student’s voice. I guide students through the process of recording their own tracks, from laying down guitar parts to polishing a complete song. My lessons are personalized to nurture creativity while building strong technical skills. I have mentored aspiring singer-songwriters and independent musicians, helping them bring their musical ideas to life. We also work on performance techniques, dynamics, and expressive playing to enhance the overall impact of their songs. I encourage experimentation and finding an authentic sound that resonates with both the artist and their audience. My teaching balances structured guidance with creative freedom. About the lesson

My teaching approach is focused on helping students of all levels discover their love for guitar. I combine structured learning with creative exercises to make practice enjoyable and meaningful. We explore classical fingerpicking, hybrid picking techniques, and tonal control to develop precision and expression. I also guide students in reading musical staff and understanding theory, so they can play confidently across styles.

I pay attention to each student’s goals, whether they want to perform, record, or compose. Lessons are personalized, blending technical drills with songs and exercises that challenge and inspire. I emphasize timing, dynamics, and phrasing to bring music to life. I also support students in building confidence to perform their favorite pieces and push boundaries in their style.

By encouraging experimentation and curiosity, I help students improve quickly while enjoying the process. I focus on both skill and musicality, guiding them toward mastery and personal expression. My goal is to help every student excel and discover their unique sound.
