About Jessica
"Music becomes a conversation when I share what I know. Honestly, I teach because the process of refining technique brings me genuine satisfaction. Working with teens, hobbyists, grade exam candidates, and working professionals keeps my perspective fresh.
Over 133 students have found their way through my studio door since I began. My path includes 8 years with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and formal training at Guildhall. I teach acoustic technique, strumming patterns, and complex chord transitions.
Reading sheet music and mastering scales provide a solid foundation. Tuning and maintenance are vital habits I instil early. I am happy to help you build your musical identity."

"You arrive at the studio ready to play. Your first session begins with a diagnostic skills check before building the lesson plan to ensure we target your needs.
We cover lead guitar, rhythm guitar, and barre chords with precision. Music theory feels accessible when grounded in practical application. I use my MMus Voice from Guildhall to explain pitch and timing in ways that bridge the gap between instruments.
You might find some concepts tricky, but we break them down until they click. My 13 years of experience means I have seen every common hurdle for guitarists. We will navigate the fretboard together at your own pace. Let us get your hands moving towards that goal."
