Stephanie has been a wonderful tutor for my child! She works with my child's individual needs and learning style to ensure that they are getting the most out of their time together. Stephanie has been tutoring my child for more than 2 years and as they have encountered new challenges at school, Stephanie has always stepped up to the task and helped my child build confidence in their studies. Stephanie is also an excellent listener, being willing to chat with my child about day to day things allowing for a relaxed and fun learning environment. I am writing to highly recommend Stephanie Sjaardema. Stephanie has given my daughter harp lessons since August 2023. She is an amazing teacher. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable about harp and music, she is also a creative and compassionate teacher. She has a wonderful way of quickly ascertaining where my daughter is and explaining to her in an encouraging way what her next steps should be to continue growing and learning as a musician and making consistent progress. Stephanie also strategically chooses music and lessons that interest my daughter but also cleverly introduces and exposes her to a large variety of harp techniques and music theory in a fun, engaging way that make my daughter actually want to practice! Stephanie is a gifted teacher and wonderful person. I 10/10 recommend Stephanie!
