About Luella
"Engineering foundations trip up a lot of capable students who otherwise have the right technical intuition. You will find that my approach bridges the gap between abstract physics and the actual mechanics of design. Earning my BSc Mechanical Engineering degree from Purdue University gave me the technical rigor required to break down complex systems effectively.
Throughout 8 years of experience, I have supported hobbyist makers, working engineers, and CSWA candidates in refining their technical intuition. Teaching mate constraints, sheet metal design, GD&T basics, and parametric design constitutes the core of my daily work. My process involves emphasizing the 3D modeling workflow alongside practical engineering drawings. I help you master design for manufacturing principles by focusing on extrude and revolve features.
Mentoring allows me to see students transform their conceptual sketches into robust, buildable realities. Reaching out to discuss your specific design goals is a simple starting point for us."

"Starting with a blank screen is often the least effective way to begin a technical project. You should approach the design process by establishing the mathematical constraints before you ever touch a sketch tool.
Using my background as a Purdue trained engineer, I integrate CSWA-style practice into each session to ensure you are ready for real world certification standards. We investigate the mechanical properties that inform your choices in a 3D environment. These sessions are designed to move beyond button clicking into the realm of true engineering intent.
My goal is to see you navigate complex assemblies with total confidence in your geometry. The path toward technical proficiency usually begins with a single well-defined constraint model."
