About Jamie
Technical complexity often hides simple physical intuition when students struggle with core engineering concepts. During my 10 years of practice, I have realized that those who master basic mechanics early on perform better in later design courses. I focus on bridging the gap between abstract math and physical reality.
Most of my work involves supporting CSWA style practice for students who find extrude features or mate constraints overwhelming. I handle sheet metal design and parametric design with a focus on engineering drawings. It is simple to design when you understand the internal logic of the software.

Clarity is the ultimate goal in mechanical design instruction. Engineering requires precision.
Because I hold an MEng from MIT, I emphasize the fundamental mechanics behind every software tool. We spend time building surface modelling workflows and perfecting design for manufacturing techniques. I provide CSWA style practice that replicates the pressure of actual certification environments. This ensures that students are comfortable when it matters most.
