Cathy is truly one of the best! She is funny, very patient and kind and has an amazing way with kids. My 8 year old's violin skills improved greatly after just a few lessons. My son sometimes has trouble focusing but Cathy was able to capture his full attention every time. She pays great attention to detail and explains things in an easy and understandable manner. Her lessons are fun and exciting and I love that she always has an encouraging word for my son. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to play the violin.

Cathy is a great teacher. She is very attentive and focused in helping her students to get the techniques right. She takes time explaining the details as well as sharing her practicing experiences which I find very helpful. As her former student, I highly recommend Cathy.

Starting singing in my late teens, Cathy has been nothing but helpful. She’s extremely patient and understanding that correct singing can feel awkward and new as it was for me. Her approach to teaching singing is focused on using proper technique to avoid injury, which was really important for someone like me who strains easily in higher registers.
