About Katelynn
"I hold a BM Music Performance degree from Belmont University. My focus is on the oral tradition of music making. I spent 11 years helping hobbyists and absolute beginners find their sound. It is a process of listening, imitating, and refining.
My teaching covers pitch control, vocal range extension, and diction. We work on head and chest voice while monitoring vocal health. I guide you through breathing control and sight singing exercises. You will also learn performance confidence and warm-up routines.
I enjoy seeing how returning learners grow when they finally understand the mechanics of their instrument. It is truly satisfying to hear a student execute a difficult phrase with ease."
