About Issac
Patience defines my studio atmosphere. Lessons are truly personal.
I hold a BFA in Musical Theater from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama and have guided 390 students through the intricacies of keyboard technique. My approach blends classical discipline with the freedom of pop and contemporary music. Whether you want to focus on hand independence or just learn to play, I am happy to help you get started.

Silence is the most important part of your practice time. I encourage students to stop and evaluate their rhythm and timing before rushing into the next measure. We emphasize sight playing and sight transposition to build your musical literacy quickly.
With 13 years of experience, my background in the CMU theatre program allows me to teach piano as a narrative tool for singers and soloists. I love watching students discover greater depth and expression in their music.
