About Sara
Music has been the constant melody of my life since early childhood. I maintain 7 years of teaching experience. My primary focus involves piano instruction that builds core technique without ever losing the sheer joy of performance.
Students rely on me for ABRSM and Trinity grade exam preparation, pedaling technique, and sight playing. I integrate music theory, pop, contemporary styles, and accompaniment skills into our work. These technical foundations keep my students playing confidently within 1 term. I share a progress tracker with parents every month.

Confident performance happens when a student feels fully prepared for the stage. I watch them navigate complex phrasing with ease during our 9 minute intensive segments.
My background as a graduate of the New England Conservatory informs these sessions. We utilize my 7 years of experience to ensure every concept clicks.
I draw upon my MMus degree to explain challenging theory concepts in simple ways. Sometimes I might pause to demonstrate a specific touch on the keys. Students appreciate that I keep the environment focused yet lighthearted. My goal is to ensure you feel secure at the piano bench before we conclude.
