My method of teaching is to seek to understand and then be understood. In other words, I’ll ask the student which Math concepts he/she is struggling in and then I’ll elaborate the concepts as much as possible. However, if the student still won’t comprehend the concept, I’ll then explain the concept in a different way.
I am a third year student at California State University, Long Beach who is majoring in Mathematics. I have achieved an A in Intermediate Algebra, a B in Trigonometry, B’s in Calculus 1, 2, & 3 and am currently taking linear algebra. My goal is to eventually become a Math TA while working on my Master’s Degree to become a Math Professor at a community college.
