About Liza
Teaching feels like watching a dark room suddenly light up with a vibrant neon glow. I guide adult learners, independent artists, and career switchers through the technical hurdles of making music.
My BFA in Music Technology from NYU Steinhardt provides the foundation for everything I share with you. These 3 years of teaching have taught me exactly how to explain complex concepts in clear terms. Whether you are an aspiring artist or a seasoned hobbyist, I prioritize clarity and patience.
I enjoy breaking down DAW fundamentals in Logic Pro, Ableton, and FL Studio until they feel like second nature. Building a home studio or mastering basics does not have to be a headache. You will find that I stay right by your side while we tackle gain staging or drum programming.
I keep the environment relaxed so you never feel pressured. My method ensures you gain a repeatable process that serves your creativity long term.
