About Tanya
Playing guitar since 5 years old remains my absolute favorite way to spend a day. Having gigged professionally for 6 years across the West Coast, I know exactly what it feels like to struggle with pentatonic jail. My formal training includes a Bachelor of Music in Industry from Belmont University.
Learning to balance technical theory with real-world stage presence is how I help students grow. Whether you are reading tabs for the first time or looking to master intricate fingerpicking, I am here to help. Teaching is honestly the best part of my week because I get to share this craft with you.

Good tone starts at the amp before a single note is played on the fretboard. Setting the stage for success means we dial in your sound and focus on fundamental maintenance first.
Students often find that specific rhythm guitar patterns or acoustic techniques become much easier once their gear is dialed in properly. I structure our time together around an 8.0 module system that tracks your progress through every session. This ensures you maintain constant momentum between our meetings. By integrating music theory with improvisation and soloing, we build a clear path toward your ultimate performance goals.
