About Mayank

Hi, I'm Mayank!

I’ve been playing this game since 2008 and turned pro in 2016. During that time, I logged 3 million+ hands online, competed at the highest stakes available in India, and represented the Gujarat team in Seasons 1 and 2 of the Poker Sports League (PSL).

Over the past 5+ years, I've coached more than 60 students. They ranged from recreational players to full-time professionals.

Before poker, I graduated from IIT Roorkee, worked in tech and product companies, and later co-founded a music startup.

Whether you're a recreational player looking to beat your local games, an aspiring professional aiming to move up in stakes, or someone who simply wants to understand poker at a much deeper level, my coaching is tailored to your current skill level and goals.

What Results Can You Expect?
Most students leave the very first session with a clearer understanding of where they're leaking money and what to work on next. Over multiple sessions, the goal is to help you progress from beginner to intermediate, or from intermediate to advanced, while becoming increasingly independent in your study process.

My ultimate goal is that you eventually don't need me anymore. I want you to become a profitable, confident, and self-sufficient player who knows how to keep improving on your own.

What's my coaching style and what you'll learn?
My coaching combines theoretical principles with practical exploitative strategies that work against real opponents.

I don't believe in asking students to memorize anything. I focus on helping you understand the reasoning behind every decision so that you can continue improving long after our sessions.

Every session is interactive and customized to your needs. Depending on your goals, we may review hand histories, study specific situations, discuss core strategic concepts, identify leaks in your game, or work through practical exercises.
