About Cheryle
Playing the violin since the age of 6 has defined my entire creative life. Sometimes I admit that balancing the piano as a second study felt like juggling two different worlds, yet it shaped my technical foundation at the New England Conservatory. With 10 years of teaching experience behind me, I focus on the nuances of double stops, sight reading, and spiccato or staccato bowing.
Integrating classical repertoire and scales with arpeggios is where I see students grow most effectively. Do you understand how shifting positions or ear training can change your sound quality?

You will find that my approach to pacing emphasizes tuning by ear alongside technical refinement. As a chamber musician, I incorporate my Diploma from the New England Conservatory to ensure you grasp the interplay between melody and rhythm.

This structured feedback helps us monitor your improvement across 10 distinct areas of study. I value clarity and precision in our time together so we can focus on the music at hand.
