About Beverly
Standing on a stage with a blues band is where I learned that music happens in real time. For 6 years, I have helped students escape pentatonic jail by ditching repetitive drills for actual songs. My work started as a side gig but quickly evolved into the absolute best part of my week.
Graduating from Belmont University with a BM in Music Industry provided the technical foundation for my playing. Whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned player, we will focus on what matters most. I am ready to help you reach your goals.

Real music is the engine behind every 60 minute session we share together. My approach ignores boring exercises to focus on barre chords, scales, and rhythm guitar techniques that get you playing immediately.
Having spent 10 years gigging across the US, I know exactly what translates from a bedroom to a bandstand. Included with every lesson is a practice module to keep your momentum steady between our meetings. This ensures you are not just memorizing theory but actually applying it to fingerpicking or acoustic technique. You will find that making music is the most enjoyable part of the week.
