About Violet
I have been teaching singing for over 6 years, and I hold an Advanced Diploma in Singing. My passion lies in helping young children and early teens discover the joy of music through creative and playful methods. I believe that learning to sing should feel exciting and natural, so I use games, movement, and storytelling to teach pitch, rhythm, and vocal basics. These activities make lessons fun while also building strong musical foundations. I love working with folk songs, Disney favourites, and musicals because they connect easily with young voices. Through these songs, I introduce age-appropriate techniques that develop healthy singing habits from the start. I encourage students to explore their voices with curiosity while also learning to listen carefully to themselves and others. Confidence is at the heart of my teaching approach. I create a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. Step by step, they gain both vocal skill and self-assurance. For me, every lesson is about more than singing—it’s about growing joy in music-making. With the right guidance, children can develop both talent and love for music. Learning to sing can be fun, safe, and exciting, and I look forward to helping young voices shine.

My singing methodology is built around flexibility, discipline, and creativity, helping students grow into versatile performers. For ensemble-focused singers, I emphasise blending, harmony, and tonal balance, so voices fit beautifully within group settings. For crossover singers, I focus on adaptability, teaching how to shift smoothly between classical purity, pop brightness, and jazz freedom. Each genre demands its own vocal colours, and I guide students to adjust breath control, resonance, and articulation accordingly. Pitch control and ear training remain central, ensuring accuracy while allowing freedom of interpretation. I also teach phrasing and stylistic nuances, which make performances more authentic and expressive. Modern technology plays a strong role in my lessons. I integrate DAWs for recording and playback, metronomes for timing precision, and pitch training apps for consistent improvement. These tools help students track progress and stay motivated. Whether performing in a choir, tackling crossover repertoire, or preparing for solo stages, I equip students with the skills to excel. My goal is to create confident singers who can express themselves across multiple genres while mastering the technical and artistic demands of each style.
