About Raquel
Working with 239 students, I have seen almost every possible hurdle when studying chemistry. It is often about finding the right way to think through the mole concept or acid-base equilibrium.
I support teens, hobbyists, intermediate learners, advanced learners, and absolute beginners. My background includes lab work, electrochemistry, and complex reaction mechanisms. We will tackle thermochemistry together in a straightforward manner. I have spent 13 years refining how I explain these topics.
Sometimes the best way to handle organic chemistry is just to break it into smaller parts. You can learn this at your own pace, and things eventually start to make sense.

Thinking about how to solve a reaction mechanism is more important than memorizing steps. I assign a homework module with every lesson to ensure you retain the core concepts. This provides the repetition needed to gain true fluency. My method works for any skill level.
