About Maribel
Training under a New England Conservatory faculty member shaped my entire musical philosophy. I prioritize precise classical repertoire, pedaling technique, and dynamics while refining expression for every student. These 13 years have allowed me to sharpen my approach to memorization techniques and ear training.
Students also master music theory, rhythm and timing, and advanced chord voicing alongside sight transposition. This EXAM-FOCUSED studio maintains high standards while keeping the process enjoyable. I am a former touring soloist who is ready to help you succeed at the bench.

Since I want you to progress efficiently, I provide a short recorded playback of each session so students can review at home. Drawing on 13 years of touring as a soloist, I integrate that stage perspective into how we actually learn a complex piece.
We balance rigorous Czerny drills with pieces you genuinely want to play. My methodology ensures that you do not just play notes but understand the architecture of sound. Expect a structured environment where your technical foundation supports your artistic voice.
You will leave these lessons with clarity and a clear plan for your practice time. Nothing replaces the confidence of knowing exactly how to solve a technical hurdle.
