About Emily
I’ve been teaching for 13 years, I originally trained in 2 schools in Wales. Then moved down south where I taught several DT subjects and became the lead in Graphics.
When I became a mum I decided to take a job in a school closer to home, so I now teach Art graphic communication.
I love graphic design, it’s my favourite subject but I also teach Textiles and Product design too!
I always knew I was going to do something design related growing up but never imagined I would be a teacher, while in uni I studied architecture and glass design, and did evening classes in Solidworks (3D modelling).I then decided to be a teacher as I love the reward of seeing students succeed and make progress!

I’ve taught Graphic Design Products with 3 different exam boards, and now teach Graphic Communication (both up to A level).
