About Melvina
Do you need help navigating the complexities of Spanish verb conjugation or understanding regional accents? I teach because I want to help professionals and families bridge communication gaps through real-world accuracy. With 12 years of experience and a degree from USC, I work with many students who need to formalize their language skills for success.
My approach focuses on reading comprehension and vocabulary building to ensure you feel confident in daily interactions. Whether we discuss Latin American versus Castilian variants or prepare for the DELE, I keep our time together focused and steady. I am here to be your bilingual coach as you navigate these new challenges.

Clarity requires a structured approach that avoids unnecessary fluff during our time together. I find that building competence happens when we prioritize actual dialogue practice and role play over simple repetition.
Since I have taught for 12 years, I know that learners often feel overwhelmed by grammar rules. We will work through accent and intonation exercises to help you sound natural.
This method keeps our practice grounded in how people actually speak today. My goal is to make these lessons feel accessible and manageable. I focus on steady progress for every student while keeping the atmosphere encouraging. You can expect a 9.0 level of dedication to your specific goals.
